Every one of us wants to have a better life. When God give our life, people should know how to take care and it is in our hand whether you become a failure or a successful one. When we are still young I am sure that everyone has now their plan on what track they will going to choose. Some people want to become a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, a politicians, and even a great scientist. But there are some people is still take the wrong way of life. And yes this true that every man is the architect of his own future. I remember when I was in high school my Values teacher said that “If you work hard you can become whatever you want, if you finish your degree and become very successful in life no one will put you down.” Man should do everything to make his life successful, you will experience many hardships to become a successful one. You are the only one who knows yourself very well. Every action you take is accompanied by good or bad results. If you are hard-working and you work with all your heart for sure you will be rewarded, but if a person who is too lazy you will suffer and your life is nothing. So be careful of your actions.

If you want to become a successful person we should be hard-working, you must be dedicated especially on your work. Your decisions and actions can bring you what your life will be like. Your future is in your hands, only you can do it. We all know that an architects are the one who plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings. Like man we are the one who design and build our own life, we are an architect of our future that design and make the structure of our life.

It’s really hard to define what is really intelligent are, right? Where is it inherited? Is it genetically inherited, is it inherited from environment or earned? Intelligence has been defined in many different ways. According to Dr. Gardner, intelligence refers to how we are wired as a whole meaning, intelligence is acquiring and applying knowledge and skills. Some people believe that intelligence is the knowledge we gain through education. Is it having a degree a real sign of intelligence? For me no. Your degree is useless if you are not successful after you graduated because you did not apply.  Intelligence is not about the ranking, it’s more about who will become when you finish your studies.  

Einstein on his famous quotes “Real sign of intelligence isn't knowledge, its imagination”. Yes it is true. Our knowledge can be limited. When you got older your knowledge can reduced, you may forget a lot, wherein you cannot remember all the things you've learned. Knowledge is limited but are imaginations are not.  For example if a person is not intelligent but he have a strong imagination that his/her imagination can change the world because of the new ideas. Our imagination is very powerful, right? Come to think of it. We are unique and gifted because we have the ability to visualize something that doesn't exist and we can bring that non-existent thing into real or existence and that is a real sign of intelligence. “THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX”. Our imagination will take us everywhere.  Our imagination can be our inspiration and it can be motivation to follow our dreams.  I believe that if you imagine something you can make it happen. Knowledge is nothing if you did not apply it into real life. Imagination embrace the whole world, with our imagination it seems like you can conquer the world.

Every man has a right way to speak. We have a lots of ideas in our mind that we need to speak out and share it to other. But what if you have a lots of thought but there is no sense. Yes! We have the right to say something but we should also think first before we speak out. Our thoughts can hurt anyone. We should be thankful because God gave us a mouth. It is very important so that you can share your ideas, feelings or thoughts, that’s why also God gave us 2 ears to hear those words. Both of them should use in a right and good way.

Actually a wise men and fool men have a lots of thoughts.  But how can you call a person a wise? For me, I believe that a wise men can control everything. If he knows something especially if it’s not good he will remain quiet or silent. When they call you wise, meaning you are now perfect? For me, that is another meaning. Wise men commit mistakes also, they complain but it is not too much, unlike a fool that they have lots of thoughts but most of that thoughts has no meaning, they just want to speak. A wise men speak because they have something to say, and this something is that it can help to solve problems or it can help others and it is worth it. While the fool speak because they have to say something and this something to say is that sometimes it has no meaning and they only want to get an attention. A person that is wise sometimes keep her mouth shut because he believe that there are words or thoughts that are not meant to be spoken. So for me, we should better not to speak if we have a non-sense thought you were not look like a fool but you will look like having a small mind. So be wise always!

This quotes is very applicable in today’s world. It is connected to every person characters now especially in this generation. When we say great minds discuss ideas it simply says that these kind of people are the one who are creative, because they know how to use their minds in a right or good way. These people are discussing ideas that is very helpful and their ideas is not only for their self but for all. These great minds are kind of people who have deep thought. They discuss ideas that can give a big contribution and it can change the society where they belong. These great minds are people who maximize their minds to create ideas that is something worthy. While average minds discuss events for me I think these kind of minds are people who were prefer to enjoy their life through attending lots of events, grand events. They always focus their life in socializing, they focus their life discussing on what is happening in their own life or other lives. While lastly the small minds discuss people, wherein they criticizes people. They judge the people on what they see. They don’t even try to know the real story behind, they just stick to what they see and what they hear to others. They don’t expand their thinking. They talked about the life of others, instead of making their life better and improve.

On the sixth day, God created man. He made us in the image and likeness of God. Human beings have the ability to know God and therefore love Him, worship Him, and serve Him, and fellowship with Him. I believe that God created us to love. Love for our family, special someone, friends, classmates, and also to love those people who we do not know, and everything in this world. For all his wonderful creations, we are our Creators greatest achievement. God is really amazing, of all his creations we are so lucky he created a very special, our MOTHERS.

Yes! God is everywhere. He always watch us, he always guide us, he always support us, and he always love us. Even though God is always there, we really need someone who is physically present to do the same of what God did to us that’s why he created mothers. Like God, without our mother we are not in this world. We can also give our 100% trust to our mother. A mother can be our father, teacher, friend, best friend, and even sister. Like God, our Mothers play an important role in our life. She taught us how to speak first, she taught us how to read and write, she taught us how to eat healthy, she taught us how to dress, she taught us to become a good person, she taught us how to respect others especially adults, she taught us everything that is good. In my 18 years of existence, I would be nothing without my mother and she is very important to me. If you have a problem in life and you want a person to cry on our mother will listen to us, so if God is not with you that time that’s why he created mothers. If you feel bad and there is something wrong if you need a hug from God, your mother also can give that personal hug you need to calm you down that’s why God created mothers. Like God, our mother loves us unconditionally our mother loves us so much no matter what happen, her love is unconditional when you fall, she is always there to help you lift up your life again. God never hates us, same with our mother though you made a lot of mistakes she is always there open her hearts to forgive you. God created our mothers so that she will help you become the best person you can be and she wants the best for you. We have that special moment or bond that only the mother and her child can understand. . God created mothers so that there is a representative in this world to feel and give the love and care of God to us. God created mother so that we have an arms that would always hold us forever, always comfort us, always help and guide us and a heart that will always love us.

This quotes of Plato has a deep meaning for those of us who lead their lives through FAITH. When we talk about our faith, isn't it sometimes turn into a debate? But why? Do we need to study or test every person just to know how strong their faith are? In today’s world, all of us have our own beliefs, ideas, and practices in our own religion so that we can be good person in the eyes of people surround us and especially to the eyes of our Creator. Sometimes because of our religion, divides us people. Yes! It divides us. Because sometimes the teachings of what religion we belong is contradict to some other religions or they did not accept, they did not open their hearts and the tendency is that we people of God, fought each other. Although we belong to different religions, we may have different beliefs, practices, the most important is that we only have one God, he loves us very much, our creator and our only one savior. Many world religions today have their own definitions of faith. According to what I've red is that faith, is the essence of things we hoped for. It is a persistent embrace of our highest aspirations and yearnings, a humble trust that they can be or can become reality. So for me in short when we say faith it is also a HOPE that though you have many problems in life we should TRUST God that he can help you no matter what happen. Keep our faith. Because I believe that he is the only one that we can give our 100% trust.

I will tell you a short story, this story is true, and this is my real story. It happened last year it is a Holy Week! That month I am so happy because after a long year my father back to Philippines to have some vacation. But that happiness turn into a sadness, the smile that always on my face fades away! In the middle of the Night I am watching a movie on my laptop, and then my neck becomes itchy so I need to put some gel to the parts so that it will lease the itchiness. Then I touch a small “bukol”. I touch it again to make sure what it is. So I was about to cry, nervous. Because the first thing come to my mind is that it is a cyst or now a tumor. I kept it secret. I did not tell anyone what I discovered and even my parents. Because of that I can’t concentrate, I can’t eat. I can’t sleep at night. Every night I was crying.  And then one night, instead of crying all day and all night, I talk to God. And it is something like this: “Lord, why this thing happen to me? I don’t want to die early. I have lots of dreams in my life that I want to achieve with my family, love ones and for you Lord. Lord I know I am not a perfect daughter, please give me chances. But if it is your plan I will accept it. I will trust you whatever would be the result. My life is for you. I will trust you Lord.” And then the next day I tell it to my parents. I am crying and I hug them both very tight. And I tell them my problem. So they also panic, that’s why they decided to bring me to the Doctor to examine or check what it is in my neck. When we reach the clinic I am crying again, but my mother told me “just to relax, we are here to check you so that it will cure you, pray to him!” My mother said.  And then after they examine. Yes! Thank God, it is not a cyst or tumor. The give me medicines to remove what it is in my neck. When we reach the house. I run to my room and talked again to God to thank him that he never leave me in this kind of situation, and I am very grateful he hear my prayers. And I have a right decision that never lose my hope, keep my faith to him. Trust him! And I can surely say that my God and my faith is more powerful than the medicines that I take, and yes it is true that we are twice armed if we fight with faith. These quotes are so wonderful and true! Our true faith is confidence in God, not in one’s self. If we put our faith in God and trust Him, he will always provide a way for us, according to His will. Our faith also shows God our love and devotion to Him. Our faith is like a light that shines when we are in dark and full of sorrow. Without faith, we human beings cannot achieve anything. With our faith it gives us strengths to fight against our problems and to have a courage to face and continue our life, serve others and serve God. So, you can achieve everything if you have faith because of our determination, hard work and courage. Keep your faith intact and work towards achieving your goal.

Intelligence without ambition, is a bird without wings - Salvador Dali

Different people have different ambition. We aim to become doctor, teachers, lawyers, artists, dancers, singers, painters, scientists, engineers, soldiers, priests and many more. Even though you are very intelligent , even though you memorize all what is written in the books. If you are only intelligent and you have no ambition. It’s useless! Right? Ambition is the driving force that makes our intelligence actually useful. And what is this ambition means? According to dictionary, ambition is a strong desire to achieve something in life. Imagine a bird without wings? They can never flies anywhere. They will never get high. They cannot find a food so that they will survive, they will never enjoy their life. Because they stuck into a one place, wherein they can only sit there and later maybe that bird can die. Same with a man though you finish your degree, you are one of the smartest people, but you only want to sit there in your house, smoke, get drunk, hang out with your friends you will not become a successful in your life, you just simply know all the things you needed in your life while you are in the school, but sadly to say you did not apply them into your life. 

For me, there are two kinds of Man in this world: 1) A man who is intelligent but without ambition, and 2) A man who has enough knowledge but full of ambition. I will define first a man who is intelligent but without ambition. Some people can think that what kind of people are you if you know that you are very intelligent and yet you did not use it? If you are intelligent it can be one of your big points in getting your job, if you hired you will get high salary, nice house, and a super enjoy life. But then you prefer not to use your intelligent to make your life better. A man who is intelligent but without ambition is like you are boating in a concrete place, you were stagnant and look like a fool. The other man who has enough knowledge but full of ambition. Obviously, for me this kind of man is better than the first one because even though he/she only have few knowledge but he/she give her best to achieve their goal, and to have a better life in the future. Another example is that our great scientists, it is not only because of their intelligence or their mental capabilities, but it accompanied with their great aspirations and ambitions and they set a high goals that brings them very successful to their respective fields now.

If you are a person with intelligence but no ambition, instead of going up, your life will go down. You will never fulfill your purpose in your life. Our life is like battle, you need to fight. You need to win. Fight for your dreams. Achieve it. Our ambition will serve as our guiding star.  If you wish to reach the star, also reach the Moon. Dream Big! This quote “Intelligence without ambition, is a bird without wings” it has a very strong meaning. We should always put in our hearts and minds because we can use it in our journey of learning.
